Nicole Blackman

This is my 10th year in education. I graduated from Sam Houston State University.

I wanted a change in teaching education because I hate teaching to a test and want kids to learn without being primarily assessment focused. I love the freedom we have to teach virtual students to make it work for them and not a specific program. I want kids to succeed and be prepared for their next math education level so it boosts their self esteem and confidence.

I am a military brat but ended up in Houston after my dad retired from the Air Force. I moved to Texas from Germany where I spoke fluent German. I absolutely love traveling the world! I have a wonderful husband and three beautiful kids: 2 girls; Harper(3) Emerson(2) and a boy Jace (8 months)
