Carol West

I was raised in Houston and graduated from Milby High School. I received my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Houston. In 2007 I graduated from Sam Houston State University with my Masters of Education in School Counseling and received my LPC license. I have worked in Conroe ISD for 21 years. I am the proud mother of 3 sons and 3 daughter-in-laws. My 5 grandchildren are my world. My 3 month old Goldendoodle, Sadie, keeps me very busy. Being a Guidance Counselor at The Conroe Virtual Academy has been a wonderful experience. Our principal is an impeccable leader, our teachers are the BEST and our school secretary is fabulous. I’m fortunate to work with the best staff. Having a lower number of students than I have in previous years has given me the opportunity to know my students and families better. Working at The Virtual Academy reminds me daily of why I wanted to be a school counselor.
